Fiberglass

Excellent energy saving costs; however slightly more expensive than replacement windows made of vinyl.

 

Vinyl

Inexpensive, low maintenance, durable, and provides very good energy savings. They are available in a wide range of styles; however, these cannot be painted and over time can discolor.

 

Wood

Wood provides good insulation, as it is unaffected by temperature, and can be painted. However, wood requires repainting periodically.
